Details: This cyberattack was believed to have been made by DoppelPaymer, a cyber gang, targeting the manufacturing company in an attempt to steal $34 Million dollars. Ransomware is an attack that demands payment in order to make your system work correctly again. In the Foxconn attack, DoppelPaymer encrypted over 1,000 servers, downloaded 100 GB of data, and deleted roughly 25 TB of data from backups.
